My old foam grips were wearing way too badly. So I thought maybe the rubber grips would last longer but still look good. It was a bit of a hassle when you just used water to lubricate the installation. So, as I learned from the comments on other sites, I wiped the steering wheel with alcohol. And it just worked great. The handles are made of high quality rubber and are comfortable to the touch. At this price I couldn't ask for more for my regular commuter bike. I like the little jar they pack the handles in. It's transparent so I can put small things inside. Plus, it looks like they're in serious business.
