I've been using Quantum ballasts for three or four years. Although I don't have any specs I can say they will outlive cheap ballasts. So far I haven't had any burnout. In addition, they have no problems with dimming and dimming. Where I live we have spikes and about 300 spikes or dips a year. These ballasts keep ticking.
