At first I thought it didn't work well but that's because I didn't use any accessories! When I attached the "tube" it worked fine for easy cleaning. I have a small white fluffy rug by my bed and I use it for cleaning. Also great if B. crumbs falling on the carpet, and for hard-to-reach corners. Haven't tried it on my car yet but I'm sure it will fit perfectly, especially under the seats.
