Very bright, 6000 lumens is enough to light up a bedroom enough to paint or drywall - all by itself. And we like the light, but the position of the switch we really don't like it. Having the switch closest to the end of the cord that plugs into the wall means you have to bend down and find the switch every time you turn it off. We also constantly stepped on the switch and turned it off. I'm in the process of replacing the switch/moving it closer to the light, but again this adds about half the cost of the kit. Very upset. I find that Olafus offers a 5000LM/2500LM dual power supply model with a switch built into the light frame - I think that's a much better design.
