I saw a video recently that was about inexpensive repairs for your RV and it mentioned an EZ clutch cover. That's a BIG idea! Yes, it's very inexpensive to drain the tanks, which is a lot easier and less messy getting your dad's hands out the drain when you have a leaky valve in the clutch cap. It's exactly as it looks on the product info page, just a coupler with a much better and longer handle that also has a standard hose adapter with its own cord if you want to get a hose and flush the drain or backwash the black tank. I don't need it, but it's there. Simply unplug the silicone cable that attaches to the pin of the coupler on the RV drain, with the molded o-ring attached to the pin so you don't lose the cap. if you forgot to make sure it's re-tightened before leaving (anyone check?). Attach the new silicone cable and attach this new cover by turning it on the pins that hold it in place. While not expensive I kept the old cover in the home junk box just in case, or if we trade this RV I can put the original back and keep it for the next RV. Nobody sells them around my neck in the forest.
