I love that they fold instantly with just a pull of the handle. it also opens and configures fairly quickly. perfect for sitting and standing (just be careful not to sit down and step on it too quickly). I love that I can fold up these stepladders and put them away quickly. The plastic case isn't filmy but I wouldn't throw it around as I think the case will crack. These are good chairs for indoor use. These are lightweight stools rather than heavy folding stools to throw in garden carts as these stools are more expensive, have a stronger body but are more difficult to set up and fold up for storage.
