When ebay asked me to rate the sheerness. I'm not exactly sure what they mean. I can kind of see through on the outside. So I gave it a three out of five stars. As for durability. I just hung it up today. So I'm going to put three out of five stars because I don't know yet. But as for installation. The guy that installed it did a pretty good job. So I think I could say it was not difficult. It looks beautiful. I took pictures. Until I can get a house out in the country with no neighbors, this is the best I can do for privacy in an apartment for right now.
