I bought them to make soap but haven't made them yet. However, I used mold when making herb butter. It worked because it turned out to be a carefree method. Just pour the oil into the pretty little molds and pop them out when they're set. This eliminates the need to watch/check herb butter for proper consistency to cut blocks out of the pan. This is really my first time using silicone molds. They seemed thinner than I thought. I'll just have to wait and see how durable they are.
