Took exactly one day. Please don't make my mistake and ignore the many other reviews saying not to buy this product. I experienced the same thing many others have said. It is of very cheap quality and stopped working within 24 hours. Here's the gist. You probably still want to buy this in hopes of getting a good product. You probably think I just have a bad charger. You are probably wondering how likely it is that you will receive a defective product. I thought all the same things and yet decided to buy the item. The truth is, yes, it's possible to get a power adapter that appears to match your laptop. Well, while it seems to work, there are many reviews of cheap quality. That means you're plugging power from an outlet straight into your $1,000+ laptop with a very cheap, cheap, poor quality power supply. I was lucky that the power adapter stopped working and didn't burn out my computer. That would be complete rubbish. I feel like a complete idiot for even buying this and hooking it up to my $1800 ThinkPad that runs my business. Believe me! Purchase the adapter directly from Lenovo. Yes, they cost $100, but at least that's the same high quality you get when you buy a laptop. If that junk adapter fails and ruins your laptop, you'd happily pay a little more money for an adapter from Lenovo.
