This Fluidmaster PerforMax 400CAR3 replaced a Korky fill valve that was installed four years ago. It started to repeatedly start/stop the flow of water as the tank filled with water. I thought it might stop working at any moment. I've installed fill valves before, so I'm not new to this process. I used the printed manual anyway, which is very well thought out, with good graphics and large, crisp print. What surprised me about this Fluidmaster model is the advanced settings that are easy to adjust if you don't have the basic fill level setup. Height is set correctly. There is also an adjustable water level in the toilet. It's a roller clip on the stuffing tube. I thought it would be an interesting feature.
