This is a great item so watch these sharp, sharp, pointy scissors cut complex shapes out of paper. But there are many sharp blades. The uniqueness of these scissors lies in what they do (and don't do) in your hand. They fit comfortably, accommodate all your fingers, and give you more control than all those tiny two-finger scissors. Also, they won't bind, pinch, or grab your thumb when you try to let go. And the medium size means they can handle a wider variety of cutting jobs than 8-inch or 4-inch scissors. For comparison, my hands are larger than the average woman's and have grown even larger through decades of hard work and arthritis. I make small, often intricate, collages.
