Picked up on my first trip (unfortunately more than 30 days after purchase) and totally broke - on the Autobahn! The only reason I didn't completely lose my bikes was because some passers-by waved at me. You can see from the photos that the quick release buckle, which was supposed to make it easier to stow away, also made it easy to fold it completely during transport. You can see the slot in the hole where the metal pin should stay. The top support bar popped out of the body during the ride, causing the bikes to fall several feet and my wife's rear tire hitting the ground, destroying the tire and tube. Also, due to the added weight of the bikes in this position, two of the rubber bands broke. And now that I'm back in town I have no way of contacting customer service here because my trip has been over 30 days. after bidding successful (less than 60 days). Avoid Allen Sports! I would not buy again!
