This is a decent product. The granules seem to be sharp and they work fast. I use it for general lapping, polishing, and sharpening. This is something you don't want to get out in the wild around good tools. It will wear out fine motor brushes, bearings, and fine movements really fast. Just for fun, I loaded up a copper-rimmed wheel with the diamonds using a lot of pressure to embed them into the copper. I tried sharpening a blade on the loaded wheel and it cut the hard steel really well. Cast iron is probably better to load, but I didn't have any to try. The 1um powder is a little pricey, but worth it if you really need it. Recommended.
