My big older cat (he wears striped snowshoes, he weighs about 15 pounds) loves this bed and doesn't share it with other cats. He has arthritis, so jumping is getting harder and harder for him. He sleeps in this bed most of the day haha, but he even sleeps there in the evenings. I built it, which was very easy, and it was almost in by the time I put it on the porch by the window. this lifts him off the ground a bit, but not too high for him to just slide into. I'm very glad I bought it for him. I think he does too.
