I ordered this because it was the only thing I could get next day with Prime. We had bad weather in the area, with strong winds and heavy rain, but without a significant drop in temperature. I needed a raincoat to keep him dry. After ordering I read some reviews and saw some complaints about it not being waterproof. As a precaution, I ordered a waterproofing spray for additional protection. It seems to have worked! All bad weather came, with wind and rain for several days. When I took him out of the pasture every day to be checked, he was completely dry under the sheet. Not a drop of rain seeped through.
