You can remove the shock pins!
Our dog already has a collar that beeps/vibrates so it was easy to train him. We use this to keep her close to home as we don't have a garden (she loves chasing rabbits). It only weighs 8.5 pounds so I was concerned about the shock part but this was the best collar for small dogs. I bought it thinking I would be very careful not to press that button. But it turns out that the pins come loose, making it impossible to get electrocuted! Highly recommended. I just want him to come with two collars for our other dog.
