I bought this tablet (1.03lbs) to replace my heavy Vankyo S30 (1.5lbs) when traveling. Its specs are excellent: fast startup, easy setup, great screen/color rendering, and not too much additional software. I don't use it for gaming, movies and rarely connect to the internet. I changed the splash screen to solid black. Other important installed applications: VPN, DDGo search engine, book reader (many travel books are installed on a 200GB microcard), various email services, a QR code reader and an antivirus. Scrolling is smooth. No lag, jitter or hesitation. A real plus is the included lightweight bag. No more frustration trying to find a decent case that actually fits the item. Having only had Blackview for a week I will update this review as necessary.
