I was looking for hiking shoes with arch support (because of plantar fasciitis) at a reasonable price. I may regret not going for a US made item, but I don't think such an item even exists (and no, Skechers are NOT made in the USA). In any case, they are very light, comfortable and true to size. Just note that they are sent from China: the seller sent them very quickly, but as soon as the package arrived at JFK in New York. They held the package for 10 days before going to the trouble of handing it over to USPS. It usually took 2.5 weeks from order to delivery. You'll have to be patient with those slow 3rd party shippers from the US.
