i have installed more than 10 PIR 2 way switches from another brand. need this since it's the first one i find that does 3 wayall pir (dumb ie no alexa, siri etc) switches appear to come from the same manufacturer or at least very similar design. this one has the same feel and look as .electrix brand. plastic housing attached to metal bracket with screw holes for attaching to the box holes. other brands are more solid in that plastic housing stays attached to metal brackets. this 3 way unit plastic housing comes detached from the metal piece during normal maneuver in installing and testing (which involves some force naturally because the plastic box takes up so much space). i thought about replacing but ends up with reattaching with superglue3 way wiring logic is not your standard 3 way mechanical switches nor other smart 3 way switches. if you have a new setup, following instructions carefully is all that's needed. but if you have an existing 2 3 way mechanical switches, you will be forced to install this in one where the load is (in one where load goes to one and power goes to another).
