Cheap, yes. But there's a reason: inferior components. The instructions and tools were adequate and helped me make the replacement easy enough, but within a day the adhesive strips broke and the panel began to separate from the frame. Upon inspection, it was clear that the double-sided tape had actually peeled off the back of the digitizer, not the iPad sleeve. Then the process of simply sliding the digitizer in caused the cracks to spread rapidly. The glass is uncoated, making it easy to get fingerprints on it and not easy to clean. The home button, which only works sporadically, is also problematic. Looks good. Works bad.
