I love Nikon cameras but with all the new technology this camera is pretty sluggish when it comes to recording and writing to the SD card. The rear screen requires use of the stylus on the strap or a fingertip. So don't think it will work like your Android touch screen phone. It comes with a battery and charger that holds up pretty well. The charger also works with other Nikon cameras. So if like me you have more than one Nikon camera it can charge them all. The menu is pretty easy to navigate and understand. It records good video and the rear display is quite clear, especially given the large screen for such a small camera. It is best used outdoors and in well-lit areas. Even different scene settings have problems indoors in low light. Everything must be absolutely still so that the images do not become blurred. I love it, but I'm an advanced user, so this camera seems to hold me back a bit when I'm at an event and I'm stuck waiting for it to let me take my next shot, if only I get a chance to do it a good shot. For $100 I feel like I got a decent camera, but not a great one.
