I have a medium sized dog. I ordered a medium size based on my dog's collar measurements. but my dog's neck is bigger than the smaller size so it's very big. but sizing works well and allows me to scale it down to fit better. Good as a training tool to help your dog learn commands. I prefer not to use it unless he is stubborn then I use it to help him study. works effectively, especially if you have a dog that has a pit bull in it.
