Review on πŸ“ž Bellsouth Caller ID with Call Waiting CI 43: Enhanced Features for Efficient Call Management by Gabriel Salleh

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great value for money, easy to use

I love this simple and easy to use caller ID box. The display is quite large (about 2 inches in diameter) and much easier to read than the displays on most phones with caller ID built in. The buttons are a handy size and very intuitive - when the red light is on it means I missed some calls while I was away, they are very easy to scroll and read who called when FIOS service and tells me , when I have a new message in my voicemail that I need to call, you can call back the numbers that called simply by choosing whether the system needs to dial the area code or not (you dial a 7, 10- or 11-digit key). The device isn't heavy or bulky, but it does have little rubber feet at the bottom and has enough weight so it won't slide around the table. It has screws and hooks for wall mounting, but I haven't tried it. Please note It must be plugged in for it to work. So if you hang it on the wall, you'll have to run the power cord somewhere. What I really like about this device is that it lets me use a classic old-school phone but still has the convenience of the caller ID and message waiting indicators. You can place and store your vintage phone (or a brand new vintage style phone) in a conspicuous place. It also has a flash button so you can use it if your phone doesn't have one. I paid about $16.50 for it at Revain and feel like I got a great deal. To me, this Bellsouth device paired with a basic old-style Cortelco phone is better than a more modern phone with lots of "features" but worse sound and questionable build quality.
