EDIT - Downgraded a star after a few weeks of use. This is a decent USB speaker. The sound quality is good for what it is. It's a lot smaller than I thought it would be, but it's not bad. It's the size of a soda can. Pairs with my phone very easily and connects quickly. Here are the issues I had with it: 1. The included USB charging cable is too short and has no power adapter. I also have no idea why speaker manufacturers use a microUSB connector for charging. MicroUSB connectors are very fragile and break easily. This one seems solid (much stronger than the oontz speaker) but still bugs me.2. The initial volume is too loud and when my phone is plugged in, the phone rings or other noise is very loud. I'm assuming this reflects the volume settings on my phone and I may need to figure out how to stream nothing but music through the speaker. The speaker will yell "Bluetooth mode!" at you when you press the button to turn on Bluetooth. There is no obvious way to opt out. Very annoying when he yells at me loudly in the morning.4. Once an iPhone is paired, it will not pair with another phone unless you unpair it from the first phone. We ended up buying 2 so my wife and I could use one each. Those issues aside, this is a decent speaker.
