This is one of the few unnamed external capture cards with a USB Type-A connector that features USB3.0 instead of the mislabeled USB2.0. This device records at 60 fps in 1080p lossless YUY2 format. The recorded video is clear with no tearing or dropping frames. It also records at 30 fps. The quality of the recorded video is very good. I notice a slight blur and slightly less color saturation than the original video, but no loss of resolution or overlay like I've seen on cheaper devices. The output port works well with no lag as long as the device is powered on. Note that you can loop through 4K, but this will limit your captures to 30fps (actually) due to HDMI port limitations. The manual is quite explanatory and even went so far as to suggest a starting point (-470ms) for audio syncing in OBS Studio, which is getting higher and higher for a product of this nature these days. (Note, however, that in my configuration I need much less latency to sync the audio, so you'll need to tweak this yourself).
