Review on ☕ Hario V60 Size 02 Natural Paper Coffee Filters - 100 Count by Randy Robinson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Strong, unbleached, good drop rate. Make sure the shape of your dripper fits the pointed bottom (not the flat).

There are two types of drippers, so make sure you choose the right type of filter. As an example, look at the Dripper in the style of Hario and Melita. I use a true pointed style as opposed to the "cone" style which has a flat (straight edge) flat bottom. I use three of these a day and find that they work very well. Unbleached to avoid residual chemicals from the bleaching process in my coffee that really change the taste. They are very strong and don't fall apart easily, making them easy to put in the compost bin without fear of them falling apart. I can't find this type of paper drip filter at my local store, so consider buying a drip filter. Size 1 is suitable for a single serving (max. 1-2 tablespoons of ground coffee) but does not reach the top of the drip cup. Size 2 goes about 1.5 inches above the drip tray.

Pros
  • Each filter is single use
Cons
  • Some small things
