Not worse than the original
Lost the original Samsung Smart TV remote control needed to adjust brightness and contrast. I took a chance as it was 1/3 the price of an original Samsung remote here at Revain. I removed the back panel, put in the batteries, and it automatically synced to the TV and started working right away! Works with ALL TV functions. Highly recommended, just check the model numbers to ensure this is a direct replacement for your original remote.
