I'm not always a big fan of the products I buy, but this time I'm a big fan. The strength of these metal hooks is insanely high. It's rated at around ten pounds, allowing me to hang one of my smaller vacuums across the floor. As long as the application is on a properly prepared surface, these hooks will not move. The end of the hook is not serrated and not completely flat to avoid corners that could tear clothing and the like. This way I can hang my shirts, towels, hats and other clothes without fear of the hook tearing them. I installed one in my bathroom and even with steam the sticky backing didn't come off. I have one outside that is in direct sunlight and it's really loose, so I think it's more heat related than humidity.
