Before you complete your purchase, be sure to decide whether you want to store your videos locally on a microSD card (not included) or via a cloud subscription service (additional cost). The microSD memory can hold up to 128GB, which is recommended if you use it as a surveillance camera for motion detection. We use it as a pet monitor and a 36GB memory card will do. - The image quality is excellent with a wide viewing angle of almost 90 degrees. - Night vision, of course, has no color, but still provides great detail. Not sure how great the battery life is (which of course depends on how you use it), but we have a USB cable that plugs straight into an outlet, so it's available upon request, which is a good option is. This has a built-in speaker and the ability to connect to your cellphone's microphone to transmit your voice, but the quality and time lag make two-way conversation a bit difficult. In general very satisfied!
