I know this is primarily for a freshwater aquarium and I have a reef aquarium. I thought it would be great to have in a reef tank. I haven't put it on yet because I need to fix the upper braces first and unfortunately ended up in the hospital and stuff. As soon as I'm better, they'll take care of me. I'm very happy to see how it works and looks. I had to get a larger set because my aquarium is 6 feet long. I really wish it was comparable to a loop system and a bluetooth controller. I'll update this review when it's done and I'll take that giant clamp holding my tank together from there. photos to follow. Edit: finally got around to opening this. Haven't been able to install it yet, but it's definitely in use. It may not have been installed used, but returned used. All cords are unwound and the ribbons are still wrapped around the unwound cords. Everything was just packed in a giant box, not any modern US box. I've spent a lot of money on current American products and I'm not very satisfied. Especially when I paid full price. I am changing my rating to one star because I did not pay for a returned item. I thought I'd buy new unopened ones. The photos show that the cables are in a mess and you can see how they were wrapped in one place. You can also see how it was packaged.
