I love this idea - a handy sugar dispenser to keep in my spice cabinet. And I use it often. But there are a few downsides. Firstly, I didn't look carefully at the dimensions of the product and it's larger than I expected. I thought it would be about 4 inches tall, which is 6 1/2 inches tall and about 2 inches square. Second, the floor dispenses the metered amount, but changing the meter largely requires disassembling the entire article to insert a different metering element. (And in the meantime, be sure to keep those two separate pieces somewhere so you can find them when you need them.) I chose to leave the 1/2 teaspoon measure in the dispenser, and it works great for muesli or for many recipes. There's a spout at the top for other amounts, but if I need more than a teaspoon I usually pull my large can from the pantry.
