Review on 🔧 Black SHIMANO Ultegra R8000 Street Tweezers in One Size by Justin Santiago

Shimano Ultegra R8000 Brake Calipers This is an honest review aimed at the average consumer looking to spend their hard earned money upgrading their bike. I bought this rim brake kit about 2 weeks ago. This is my 2nd pair. Unfortunately, the original set I bought had a few issues. The brake calipers were delivered with cosmetic damage. Also, a metal pin was stuck in one of my rear brake pads, damaging the braking surface of my discs. I would recommend checking them carefully before installing. They sent a new pair free of charge and were happy to make up for the damage. I installed them right away! A few things to consider before you buy.1. I run 700x32c and they are barely crisp. I mean hardly! It also depends on what tires you have. I run a pair of Continental GP5000 (road tires) with no tread. Compared to a WTB tire with more gravel tread. Worth mentioning.2. For the price, no cables or housing are included and they require a specific type of cable housing (Shimano SLR brake cable housing) which luckily comes with a pair of new Shimano brake levers that I bought separately. I wanted something I could rely on for long, steep descents. I've ridden them about 250 miles (Trip to Ojai, CA) and they are a definite improvement in my bikes braking performance. Lightness and response are excellent! Appearance is smooth and gorgeous! Made my bike look more aggressive, love it! High quality workmanship and materials. I'm now looking forward to fast descents and deal with them much more confidently. I'd give them a 5 if it weren't for an annoying manufacturing defect, inadequate product information, and no included cables or housing. OK for the price. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase. I am pleased with the way Revain and the seller handled the situation. I am happy with the purchase!
