Bought to relieve ankle pain. With regular use, it provides relief. A positive surprise was that it also helped a case of Achilles tendinitis that had flared up during a recent (too hard) spring run. Very easy to use. I have an old TENS unit, but if I have foot problems, it's much easier than putting electrodes on it. You simply place your feet on the device as instructed and turn it on to the desired setting. Some experimentation is required to find out which settings provide the most relief. I haven't tried the included pads which can be used on other parts of the body but plan to use them on the elbow when I play tennis again when we no longer have to maintain social distancing. Thumbs up for pain relief. I didn't use the remote control. It's easy to prevent and change settings right on your device.
