
I think it's perfect for my use case. I have a MacBook Pro and connected it via a USB-C to USB-A adapter. Works like a charm with no additional drivers. I use it to test NVRs in the field, preview HDMI matrix output for programming, test cable boxes, etc. I've also used it with a Firestick to use a MacBook as a TV. Can't say much if it's good for stream capture as it's not my interest.
