Absolute junk, best in solar and wind

Bought a charger for my boat. The instructions say it cannot be used as a charger. The title says loading?!?! Anyway, plug in a multimeter and it will generate 1V DC. I thought it might be clouds so I connected it to my boat battery with the correct polarity and bam! smoke comes out. not good
