Used this cable for charging and it barely charged it. It is a pity! I've used this cable to connect my cellphone to a charger to power (and charge) my phone all day while listening to music and podcasts. This morning, with one of the 3 cables in the package, my phone actually lost the battery while connected to the charger! I work most of the day on a tractor and the car has a cigarette lighter socket. My phone is old and because I use it to listen to music or podcasts (and talk on the phone) all day, it doesn't always stay charged that long, so I plug it into the USB jack with a USB cable. in the cigarette lighter socket. I've been doing this for many years. Normally, even with less than a 50% charge, my phone is fully charged when I turn it on and stays fully charged after a few hours. I got new cables because I had the last of my old ones left and it wasn't working very well. I connected one of these cables to the charger and connected my phone. I checked if it was charging and started working. I know when I started my phone couldn't notify me when the battery was low. About an hour later I used my phone to video document the surgery and got "10% performance. Go to sleep mode?' Dialogue! So my phone either wasn't charging at all or actually lost power when plugged in to charge via this cable! I plugged it back in after I took the video. An hour later lay the power level at 15%. It only charged 5% in an hour. I went back to the store for lunch and replaced it with another cable from the same packaging, putting my old charging cable in my bag just in case. The second one Cable from this pack didn't work any better He never charged it to 20% even after 2 hours I unplugged it and plugged in my old cable which doesn't work that well these days (I think the plug is loose.) Within an hour my phone was more than 50% charged so an old cable with a loose plug charged the phone to more than 30% in an hour eh r that restricts the charge. With the cables being so poorly made, I wonder how many of the reviews here are real and how many are fake.
