I wanted to replace my rubber mats in the kitchen. The 60" long skids are perfect for the two places I use them: one in front of the sink and one in front of the kitchen island. They are low pile, colorful and have a rubberized backing. I would like the pad to have better grip when sliding on grabs the floor. I've only had them a week so I don't know how easy they are to clean. I would like to throw them in the washing machine but the manufacturer doesn't offer that. The company has them for shipping very much well packaged Addendum: After about a week of use the braided edge on the 2 rugs started to unravel I contacted the company immediately After sending photos of the problem and several emails I was sent 2 new rugs free of charge I didn't have to return the original mats , they were incredibly responsive and graceful, which is unusual these days.
