Review on πŸ’₯ G.Skill Trident Z F4-3600C18D-16GTZN 16GB DDR4 3600MHz Memory Module - High-Performance RAM in Striking Black Design by Kiyoshi Nakazawa ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Everything in the product suited me, the price is generally perfect.

Works for me with a Ryzen 3700x at 3800 with timings selected using the DRAM Calculator for Ryzen, 16-21-16-21-36 with a voltage of 1.4V. Stable, without errors and kolbuts. If you do not want samsung b-die, then this is the best alternative for Zen 2. samsung b-die for the same frequencies will ask for a voltage of 1.45V + . And here at 1.4 everything works fine.

Pros
  • + Hynix DJR chips, the best alternative to samsung b-die + can take 4000 MHz at 20-22 timings under Intel + on Ryzen takes 3800 16-21-16-21-36 via calculator at 1.4V + fast and cold + the best memory for Zen2 and budget boards, where the maximum memory voltage of 1.4 can be set + ridiculous price at the time of purchase (about 6tr for 16 GB as of November 2022)
Cons
  • - only for direct hands, it may not even work on a 3600 with an XMP profile (this was the case with Ryzen 3600, then I changed the processor) - overclocking is highly dependent on the processor in the case of Zen2 (memory controller in the processor) - for some reason they stopped selling, not for sale
