Review on Portable Monitor 13.3" Origami Kickstand Duex, Model 103-1002P01 by Gavin Washing

I've had dual monitors for my desktop at home and at work for a long time. I find the dual setup essential and find my laptop's single monitor so limited that I've put off many projects until I got to my desktop. This recently changed with my purchase of Duel Pro. I spent the last week using it before writing this review. Response time is instant when I press or tap, and the image is sharp and clear. I had to change the default zoom to a higher percentage to increase text size etc, but I also had to do it with my laptop. Now I can work on a manuscript on one screen while a PDF link, for example, is open on another. I admit that the first screen I received from Revain was broken and the screen remained blank. I worked with Mobile Pixel support to resolve this issue but ended up having to do an exchange. The second monitor works great and is the one I am considering. Oddly, it only works with USB A and not USB C, but that doesn't matter. I'm running a Duex Pro on an HP Specter with USB A and C ports bought earlier this year so I don't know what the problem with USB C is. I've found that the monitor should be disabled when the laptop is off or in hibernation because the back of the monitor stays warm indicating it's still draining the laptop's battery. This is probably a laptop issue, not a monitor issue. When the Duex Pro is turned off, the image instantly jumps to the laptop screen so nothing is lost. It's good that one day I forgot to save before shutting down. I like that the monitor can either be attached to the back of the laptop or used with a stand, which gives me a lot of flexibility in positioning the monitor in relation to the laptop. Overall I am happy with my purchase and give the Duex Pro five stars. In an addendum added a few weeks later, I didn't notice a significant decrease in battery life. I confess that this has always troubled me in the depths of my soul.
