Review on 22Mm Engineer Stainless Straight Bracelet by Richard Gaines

The strap was originally purchased for the Glycine Airman SST 12 Automatic but after speaking to the seller I found that it does not fit the 2.5mm spring bars that come with it . I have previously bought one of these for my Seiko SARB017 Alpinist and it has really been a nice addition to the watch. I ended up using this strap on a Glycine Combat Sub GL0091 22mm lug. It fits like a glove. The watch feels really massive. The included 2.5mm diameter spring bars are perfect for this watch. Faceted 316L solid steel links with a brushed finish really finish off the watch. I particularly like the use of stainless steel screws instead of the usual pins and straps found when measuring watches. These screws make sizing (and resizing) easy. The use of screw bolts also allows you to install an alternative buckle if you want something different and you know what you are doing. All you have to do is contact Strapcode and ask for suggestions and the right part. The deployant clasp and push button clasp that this strap is fitted with give you a real sense of security while wearing the watch and like the rest of the strap the components are made from milled (not pressed) solid stainless steel with a really nice finish. When choosing strap size, the included 2.5mm diameter spring bars will interfere if your watch's lug spacing is too narrow, so check with seller before purchase. I've been told you could use a thinner 1.8mm spring bar, but you may need to purchase one separately if you decide or are forced to move in that direction.
