This bike storage had enough space for my morning rides and hikes with my young son. I pack his hat, two snacks, mask and cell phone in my bag. I used a bike frame protector as recommended by another reviewer to protect the paintwork before installing the bag. Once mounted, the bag left enough room for my water bottle on the bike frame. The bag is narrow and doesn't hit my legs when kicking, although I'm considering cutting off the extra Velcro material as it dangles and touches my legs. I used a duffel strap to take my water bottle and bike bag on hikes (see photo) so snacks and water traveled with us with ease. I haven't owned this for a long time, but the pocket and zipper seem durable and at least water resistant.
