The Hori cargo pouch compact is a must if you want to travel with your Switch or Switch OLED with the Hori split pad compact attached. It has a pocket for the switch to go in with the joycons and plenty of room for other items like a charger, some games, and even a controller. If your using the split pad compact that this is made for the switch will go in the main pocket instead of the labeled switch pocket. Some users have said it offers no protection but that's hardly the case. The cargo pouch compact features foam on both sides to protect the switch from a reasonable fall of about 2-5 feet which is more than enough protect if it where to slip out of your hands. It also features enough protection to just chuck into a larger bag. This will not fit the switch or switch OLED with the split pad pro. The Hori cargo pouch is more suited for that. While this case could fit a switch lite it would be really bulky. The case has a smooth feel to it as well. Overall highly recommended if you want to use your switch with the new split pad compact.
