I have a 10 gallon freshwater aquarium that is about 6 months old. I have 10 small fish and an edible frog, maybe a bit crowded but I don't want to get rid of anyone. The water has been cloudy for 4 months and smells of algae. I do 20%+ water changes every 2 weeks, the water stays cloudy. Yesterday I got a remedy for algae. I removed 1 gallon of water and added 5 drops of algae killer to 1 gallon of fresh water and added to my tank. Clear water immediately, the smell in the aquarium is better, and the fish are happy. Maybe I'll do it again, but I'll wait a few more weeks.
