Lots of reviews said to order a size up (or even bigger) but some reviews disagreed with that advice. To be on the safe side, I measured three times and ordered according to the size chart. TOO SMALL. It's too difficult to return a relatively cheap product during a virus lockdown, so I just ordered the next size up. The collar appears to be well made and the padding is of good quality. At least I was impressed enough that I ordered the same item in a larger size. My little rescue dog has a completely bald throat due to the issues he was having before he was rescued by Animal Control. I wanted a collar that would be easier on her neck. I bought an excellent, it seems, rescue harness, but for some reason she is afraid. (Most new things do!) Until I can get her to accept the harness, this padded collar will be my solution.
