The design is just a farce. The part of the collar that you think adjusts a little one way or the other is just decorative. It's not functional at all. So if it's a little too loose or too tight, there's no way to adjust it. It would be helpful if it was in the description. If you're buying this, you'd better know the EXACT neck size. A meaningless design meant to deceive.

I bought this collar because I have already bought (and loved) the harness and 7ft leash from the same brand. And now it's time to change the collar my puppy came home from the shelter with. Love that it's soft, comfort was a big priority. When we go for a walk we use a leash and harness so the collar is just to hold his dog tag and look good. The good thing is that it is reflective. Size wise, my pup's neck is 12-12.5 inches and we bought a very small one.

I have read other reviews complaining about the large loop on the collar. It wasn't a problem at all. This is the best collar I have ever used for my dog with severe skin issues. I don't put a collar on her at all unless we're going somewhere. I can leave it to her whenever we're outside. The seam creates a small pocket. I doubt it was designed for that purpose, but the dog handler's license fits in snugly so I don't have to worry about her scratching her neck. You need to keep the size in mind

the first size is a little tricky - I ordered the small one after reading the reviews and measuring the dogs according to the instructions.
