Review on 🐾 Premium Reflective TRUE LOVE Dog Collar with Duraflex Buckle - High Grade Nylon Webbing Design, No Choke Basic Collar by Truelove by Dana Wood

We really like harness from the same brand so I came back here when we needed a new collar. Based on the sizing chart, I ordered a medium size (my dog's neck is about 16 1/2 inches). When I tried to put it on, it immediately turned out that it was too small. Did I measure wrong? no The maximum size shown in the chart is the *full* length of the collar when open, from the tip of the buckle to the end of the metal loop. As you can see from my photos, when the collar is closed, only the soft orange part actually wraps around the dog's neck. This part of the collar measures 13 1/4 inches, which is a full 4 inches less than listed in the chart. Of course I'll send them back. I really like the materials that make up the collar and as I said, the harness has served us well for almost two years. Given that you can subtract about 4 inches from the maximum measurements in the chart, I'll try ordering a very large one and see if that works. I'll comment here with what I find.
