Review on 🌹 Rose Gold Oral-B Pro 6000 Smart Series Electric Toothbrush by Michael Henderson

Update: A commenter noted that this is one of the few Oral-Bs with a lithium battery, which makes it more powerful and stays charged longer. I leave mine plugged in all the time so battery life isn't an issue for me, but a more powerful toothbrush is a plus! First Review: First of all let me say that I love this toothbrush. Unfortunately I can only give three stars because the additional Bluetooth makes this device much more expensive but brings absolutely no improvement in features or usability. The toothbrush itself is wonderful - it cleans my teeth like nothing else I have ever used. I like the different modes/speeds, the pressure alarm, the sync feature, the wide range of attachments that can be used with it. This toothbrush is the result of thirty years of research and development. The only thing not working here is the bluetooth/app implementation. The application simply duplicates the menu functions that the brush already has. The app doesn't offer anything new or improve the brushing experience - it makes it clunky and cumbersome. I tried the app for about a week, and other than logging my brushing habits (do I really need to document brushing my teeth?), it didn't do me any good at all. This is indeed the case when a company tries to add technology to a product in order to increase the price, but without any real added value for the consumer. The 7000 model (which oddly has a higher model number but is almost $100 cheaper) is a better fit for the application because you can't adjust the brushing speed without the application. With this brush, most of the time the app just duplicates the same adjustments you can make right on the brush handle, so it's kind of redundant. PS: Writing reviews has become an occasional hobby for me, and it always makes my day better knowing that people find my reviews helpful (and if not, why not).
