Very happy with this purchase. This is my third toothbrush from Oral B. I usually waited for the battery to run out, but my old 3000 toothbrush only charged me 3 days and took a full day to charge. The flashing lights at night drove me crazy. The 6000 uses a lithium battery and it took me over 8 days to charge it to one bar. Fully charged in less than 5 hours. Works well and my teeth are definitely a lot cleaner, almost to the point of going to the dentist. It comes with Bluetooth so usage stats are tracked via a downloadable app for your mobile device. I bought this brush after my last teeth cleaning in February after my dental hygienist scolded me for not brushing my teeth well enough and too much had plaque. Okay, I travel a lot and while the battery and carrying case allow me to take it with me, I just didn't. I'm sharing this because I was able to compare the mouth feel when using Oral-B Power to my regular manual toothbrush. Big difference. Update: A commenter noted that this is one of the few Oral-Bs with a lithium battery, which makes it more powerful and stays charged longer.
