Review on FlameTech FTEZ 15 Scorpion Complete Assembly by Brandon Reid

If you're a perfectionist don't expect this to be an instant gem. speed mech had poor fit and finish resulting in a rough feel at light pressure/slow speeds. The sled had a slight play on the rails. The worst thing about this device is the weak magnets, which can make setup tedious and sometimes impossible. The EZ cut is great on its own and has potential. I have already restored my fur. (This is called fast running) Replacing all bushings with ABEC 7 bearings, tightening the slide and replacing the magnets with switchable indicator bases. In my opinion the device also needs adjustable knobs in the X and Z axis to speed up the build. It could be a lot better if FlameTech continued to develop the design. I have a feeling it wasn't their big hit and probably not worth their time on it. that the Scorpion EZ cut can't cut consistently and perfectly quickly and comfortably, but it can be made to do it if you have the ability.
