Very weak material - Computer Accessories and Peripherals

Likes: This is a 5U vertical network rack as described with 5 top and bottom cable and wire access holes. We were happy to see that these holes were at the top and bottom as it wasn't that obvious in the product photos. Dislikes: VERY CHEAP METAL. From the outer casing to the lock itself. Upon opening the cardboard packaging, which itself appeared to be completely intact, we noticed some rattling from the inside. Our first thought was that maybe the package containing the screw had accidentally come loose, which is not uncommon and shouldn't really be a problem. HOWEVER, the rattle turned out to be a lock that splintered in two and all the pins inside the case fell out. At first we thought the hook on the end of the lock would have just unscrewed itself, but no, the metal end of the lock came off clean. , highly flexible styrofoam bumpers that didn't look cut, torn or damaged despite being placed directly over any of the bent corners. There was also a 1/4 inch flat sheet of styrofoam covering the front vents and made of the same soft material as the corner bumpers and that was it. No tape, no plastic wrap, no cable ties, nothing. more to secure the case to prevent things from moving during transit GENERAL INFO: For the price the case could easily be better packaged or made from a stronger material or both if you are storing things in a safe and contained environment (which, if you buy this, you would most likely expect from such a product), remember that this does little to protect the contents. the holes above and below are covered with a rubber grommet and no perforated plates as usual.
